Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 8

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Nane)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Isaiah 62:6-7 NIV

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
    give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.

Isaiah 62 is a promise made to Zion by the Lord in this prophecy that He would eventually delight in her and would not leave her desolate and abandoned. Isaiah starts off by declaring he would not remain silent, but would speak out until he saw the salvation of Zion appear like a blazing torch for all to see. In verse 5 we are given the picture of a bridegroom rejoicing over the bride, an amazing prophetic pointer towards the bridegroom rejoicing over the bride he is about to marry, which is the return of Jesus in this last hour of the world’s history. We can take this same promise for our nations if we stand in the gap as watchmen on the walls, and do not remain silent until we see the light of revival in Kenya and nations beyond!

Pray that the Lord would make us watchmen on the walls of the nation and that all would give themselves no rest until God establishes Kenya and makes her among the nations that are a praise of the earth. Let it be said that the Lord has taken delight over Kenya and has called the nation Sought After and its cities a sanctuary of the Lord.

Consecrate Yourselves For The Lord Will Come Down

Exodus 19: 10 – 20 NKJV

10 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. 11 And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. 12 You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, ‘Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain or touch its base. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. 13 Not a hand shall touch him, but he shall surely be stoned or shot with an arrow; whether man or beast, he shall not live.’ When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.”

14 So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said to the people, “Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. 17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 18 Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and [c]the whole mountain quaked greatly. 19 And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. 20 Then the Lord came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Before there was access to the throne of mercy by the blood of the Lamb, it was a terrifying sight to be in the manifest presence of God. Today we have direct access to our Father, through the Son and helped by the Holy Spirit. Blessed indeed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God! Be blessed as you answer the call of the Father and Son to dwell in us and in our midst!

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 7

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Saba)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Matthew 9:35-38 NIV

35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

In this chapter of the book of Matthew, that is chapter 9, we see a host of miracles that Jesus performed. These included healing and forgiving the sins of a paralyzed man laying on a mat and raising a dead girl as well as having the woman touch his garment and be healed. From this we can clearly see that His mission, and ultimately ours, is to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God and demonstrate it by attending to the issues of those with needs in the area of physical health.

Indeed He also tasked His disciples to do the same, promising them that signs and wonders would follow believers. Healing is not an optional part of the life of the believer, especially if we pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I would take a very wild guess and declare that there is no one with any kind of sickness in heaven, and that is what God would like here on earth as well. The enemy has lied to us that continual sickness and disease are from God to keep us in our place and so we remain humble. That is far from the truth and contradicts the Lord’s prayer. It is not that we will be denied entry to heaven if we cannot grasp this and choose to remain with our spirits of infirmity tormenting us. Not at all! What will be made clear to us is that it is not God’s perfect will that mankind would walk around and carry out His will in a diseased or infirm state. Our bodies are the temple of the Lord, and should be an example of the same to encourage others. Healing is for everyone!

Pray that on the 24th of June, as the nation of Kenya lifts up a sacrifice of praise to The Lord, He will release healing to ALL who hear the Praise and Worship whether at the stadium or in their homes and where they are. Pray that Jesus will release the gifts of healing to all believers in these last days and that the Lord will raise up hundreds of thousands of servants from the nation of Kenya for the end time harvest worldwide.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 6

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Sita)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Matthew 21:14-16 NIV

14The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. 15But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.

16“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.

“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,

“ ‘From the lips of children and infants

you, Lord, have called forth your praise’ g ?”

When Jesus entered the temple courts he was greeted by a chorus of children shouting praises to Him. This upset the religious order quite a bit and they indignantly pointed out that fact to Jesus. He responds by quoting to them Psalm 8 as you can read above, yet it is easy to miss the powerful significance of this action by the children if you do not refer to the whole Psalm as opposed to just the quoted verse:

1Lord, our Lord,

how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory

in the heavens.

2Through the praise of children and infants

you have established a stronghold against your enemies,

to silence the foe and the avenger.

3When I consider your heavens,

the work of your fingers,

the moon and the stars,

which you have set in place,

4what is mankind that you are mindful of them,

human beings that you care for them? c

5You have made them d a little lower than the angels e

and crowned them f with glory and honor.

6You made them rulers over the works of your hands;

you put everything under their g feet:

7all flocks and herds,

and the animals of the wild,

8the birds in the sky,

and the fish in the sea,

all that swim the paths of the seas.

9Lord, our Lord,

how majestic is your name in all the earth! Psalm 8: 1-9, NIV

A closer examination of verse 2 explains it all. The purpose of praise in our mouths as His children is to have God establish a stronghold against His enemies (who are our enemies) and to silence the foe and avenger! Praise thus is a means of spiritual warfare against the enemy, and especially when done with childlike abandon and joy.

Pray that on the 24th of June, as the nation of Kenya lifts up a sacrifice of praise to The Lord, He will establish a stronghold against the enemies of Kenya both within and without. Pray that He clothes Kenya with a garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness that the foe will be silenced as well as the avenger.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 5

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Tano)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Acts 1:1-7 NIV

1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with a water, but in a few days you will be baptized with b the Holy Spirit.”

6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

In the beginning of the account narrated by presumably Luke and commonly known as the book of Acts, the writer starts off by talking of how Jesus was with his disciples for a period of forty days after his death and resurrection. During this time Jesus reminds them of the promise of the baptism of fire by the Holy Spirit. The Greek word Baptizo means to immerse, submerge or make fully wet. The Holy Spirit is not just a power or mysterious force, but it is one of the triune natures of God in person. By pouring out His spirit, God is giving us an opportunity to become completely immersed in Him and by doing so become empowered to become His witnesses by demonstrating that very power.

Notice here the disciples ask when the kingdom will be restored to Israel and Jesus tells them that this information is exclusively known to God alone. This clearly reinforces the premise that the kingdom of God that Christ said had come upon men was not a political one, but a spiritual one that exerted its authority in the physical realm by demonstrations of power through miracles, signs and wonders.

Pray that you too would be immersed by the presence of God and receive power to become a witness of His goodness in Kenya and beyond. Pray that the Lord would once more pour out His Spirit on all flesh in this last great move of God before Jesus returns for His bride.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 4

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Nne)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

1 Corinthians 2:3 NIV

3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.

Paul here is emphasizing the point that as believers we cannot rely on empty and powerless words to shake the world and enforce the Kingdom of God. Jesus clearly commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom healing the sick and casting out demons in His name. The Kingdom of God is not just quoting scripture but demonstrating it. It is the only language the enemy understands and surrenders to. Does the body of believers in Kenya demonstrate this truth, or has the church become a powerless place of eloquent words that come from pulpits? We must examine ourselves honestly, as signs and wonders were promised to ALL believers, not just a few.

Kenya will be a springboard of revival to the nations. The only way that will happen is if there is less talk and more demonstration of power which is driven by love.

Pray that the Lord would empower the body of believers in Kenya to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom with demonstrations of power, so that instead of men being given attention and glory, people will see these good works and give God the praise and depend on Him for their own deliverance and salvation.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 3

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Tatu)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Acts 2:1-4 NIV

1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues [1] as the Spirit enabled them.

On this day of Pentecost the Lord poured out His Spirit as Jesus had promised them. When the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jesus, he began a ministry of three short years that impacted the world as we know it today. He also promised that signs and wonders would follow the believers as they proclaimed the Good news of the Kingdom of God, and said they would do greater things than He did. Today very few can claim to have done greater things. More than ever we need the Holy Spirit. We need to receive power from on high so that we can boldly proclaim the kingdom of God.

Pray that the Lord would honor His promise in Joel 2:1 that Peter quoted and that this would happen in the nation of Kenya as we enter into the last days of history awaiting the return of Jesus.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 2

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Pili)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is:

Ephesians 6:12 NIV

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

According to the chapter we read from Daniel yesterday, the angel Gabriel was detained for 21 days by the ‘prince of Persia’. This clearly was a territorial spirit assigned by the enemy to rule over the land. Kenya also has a territorial spirit and the task to bind a regional strongman is not as simple as many think. This is why even after many prayers and prayer efforts we still see the manifestation of evil in an area as the strongman still rules. In history God has brought revival by turning up in a region with His Shekinah Glory and manifest presence. The outcome is very dramatic and distinct. As we head into remembering the Day of Pentecost tomorrow, when the Holy Spirit alighted as fire on those gathered and gave them power and boldness, let us remind God that we cannot defeat the enemy by our own strength or might, but by His Spirit.

Pray that the Lord would pour out a Spirit of grace and supplication in Kenya that leads to a distinct and powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit accompanied by the tangible presence of God that will cause the strongman to be subdued at least till the church is snatched up to heaven on the day the bridegroom comes for His bride.

Kasarani Kesha Daniel Fast 21 Days – Day 1

(Moto Kwenye Madhabahu Mfungo wa Siku 21 Mkesha wa Kasarani – Siku Ya Kwanza)

As Daniel did when he fasted for 21 days, you are encouraged to abstain from choice foods and to earnestly petition before God for the nation of Kenya and the purposes of God for the nations beyond that Kenya will touch. At the very least remove all refined and processed sugar foods and drinks from your diet and not only will you be blessed spiritually but your body will thank you for it.
The prayer point of the day is from Daniel 9: 1-9:

1In the first year of Darius son of Xerxes a (a Mede by descent), who was made ruler over the Babylonian b kingdom— 2in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. 3So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.

4I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:

“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.

7“Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you. 9The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

Pray that the Lord would have mercy on Kenya and its leaders for sinning against Him and travail on behalf of the land.

Tongues of Fire – The Real Temple Was Our Bodies.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them. Acts 2:1-4 NIV

On the day of Pentecost, a day that is commemorated each year as the day that the Holy Spirit was poured out and marked the beginning of the demonstration of the power of God in believers which enabled them to carry out the great commission as promised by Christ, we acknowledge the special place the Holy Spirit has in our lives as believers in Christ. He said that they should wait in Jerusalem until the promise of God to pour out His Spirit was fulfilled, and that He would not leave them alone but would send a counselor, a helper who would give them power.

What place does fire have in the operation of God’s will and His kingdom? Throughout the word we see examples of God sending fire to consume the sacrifice, or appearing as a column of fire, or even as fire in a burning bush that was not consumed. Let us look at the command of God to Moses when instructing Him on how the Israelites were to make a dwelling place for Him amongst them, which was called the Tent of Meeting. Also known as the Tabernacle, this housed the Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant. Look at what it says in Leviticus 6:8-13:

8Then the LORD said to Moses, 9“Command Aaron and his sons that this is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the hearth of the altar all night, until morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.

10And the priest shall put on his linen robe and linen undergarments, and he shall remove from the altar the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed and place them beside it. 11Then he must take off his garments, put on other clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a ceremonially clean place.

12The fire on the altar shall be kept burning; it must not be extinguished. Every morning the priest is to add wood to the fire, arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn the fat portions of the peace offerings on it. 13The fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it must not be extinguished.

Is it not amazing to note that the fire was never to be extinguished but was to be kept burning? In the times of Elijah we see fire coming from heaven to consume the sacrifice, and that brought back the reverence of God among the people. A demonstration of the nature of God as being an all consuming fire. In Revelations we see fire in seven lamps, also called the ‘seven Spirits of God:

1After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” 2At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. 4Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits a of God. Revelations 4:1-5, NIV

The censers that are filled with incense which are linked to the prayers of the saints also indicate that there is fire, as incense requires to be burned to release its aroma:

3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Revelations 8:3-5, NIV

Now we can see the relation to fire and why there is a requirement for an altar which is on fire! Paul tells us that we are the temple of the Lord, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, who baptizes us with His Fire, for indeed our God is a consuming fire, but he consumes that which has to burn in order to purify it, a refining fire for the redeemed yet a destructive fire to the enemy and those who assign their lot with His by refusing to acknowledge God’s sovereignty and position as creator and Lord. The Holy Spirit is our fire and we turn our bodies into a temple that has the altar of heaven inside it. Indeed when Christ says He and the Father will come inside and dwell within, it is by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Today we have reduced our relationship of fire to one where we seek external fires of revival and moves of God in our nicely constructed buildings and organized worship that gently or even sometimes forcibly remove the Holy Spirit from our midst. We have succeeded at perfecting the religion but not the relationship. Jesus told us of a time when true believers would worship in Spirit and Truth, and that God is seeking for such. The hour has come when the outpouring that is beginning will cut through walls, borders, denominations, religious rites and practices, political systems and even enemy strongholds to reveal a bride that has a lamp trimmed with oil and burning, ready to receive the bridegroom.

May Yeshua grant you the fellowship of the Holy Spirit as you pray for the precious gift of fire that will restore the broken altar in our hearts and keep the fire burning until He comes! Be blessed! Believe!
